Join us for a tour of the Fresno-Clovis Wastewater Reclamation Facility, including the new Tertiary Water Treatment Plant. It has the capability of producing 5 million gallons per day of tertiary disinfected recycled water, which will be used for non-drinking uses such as agricultural irrigation, watering of parks, cemeteries, school yards, freeway medians.

Use of recycled water is an important component of the City's long term effort to ensure a sustainable water supply and reduce the reliance on groundwater in the region.

The tour will include an overview of the City of Fresno's purple pipe system, which is currently under construction, and opportunities to connect to the purple pipe system.

Speakers:

James Harman, Senior Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator

Conrad Braganza, Wastewater Reclamation Coordinator

Online Preregistration is required
